Germany Visa Information
Germany is a member of the European Union and belongs to the Schengen area.
Due to Schengen Agreement reached among the majority of the EU member states, the citizens of the designated countries are allowed to travel visa free among the Schengen territories. Non-Schengen countries can enter the whole Schengen territory with one unified document known as the Schengen Visa.
An official letter of invitation to attend the congress can be forwarded to any participant upon completion of appropriate entries on the registration form.
Requirements for an official letter of invitation
After the conference fee is paid, we will be happy to prepare an official invitation letter for you. In order to do so, please send an e-mail to nschulze aet math punkt tu-berlin punkt de and include the following information:
1. Full name (as written in passport)
2. Address
3. Date of birth
4. Passport number
5. Please explicitely indicate, whether a hard copy is needed (on top of a PDF version sent by e-mail)
However, the invitation implies no obligation by the Organizers to cover registration fee, accommodation, travel expenses, or any other costs connected with participation in the meeting. This does of course not apply for grant awardees.
