Satellite Events

We cordially invite mathematicians to organize satellite events (conferences etc.) around the 7ECM. Participants of the 7ECM will enjoy some privileges in registering for the satellite events. Meetings that charge a registration fee can only be accepted as satellite activities if the organizers agree to grant at least 20% discount on registration fees for those participants who also attend the 7ECM. Information about satellite events will be distributed through the 7ECM channels.

Preconditions for granting the satellite status to an event are scientific quality, geographical proximity and temporal connection with the 7ECM. Applications in this regard are requested to contain the following information:

• Title and short description of the activity (kind, periodicity, objectives, etc.)
• Dates and location
• Organising Committee and Scientific Committee (if applicable)
• Preliminary list of intended participants and/or speakers (if applicable)

Applications (in one single pdf-file) and questions will be handled by the members of the corresponding sub-committee:
